The 36,000 m2 Gran Sasso Shopping Centre is a modern, single-level, enclosed shopping centre in Teramo, Italy. The mall is laid out as a compact circuit of three malls; it is a place to shop and spend that still maintains a warm and homely environment. And with several spectacular squares, the Centre embodies the Italian notion of the plaza as the place of gathering.
-
Located across its namesake, the Gran Sasso mountain, the shopping centre was built to fit perfectly with the surrounding environment. Within the boundaries of the mall, the Gran Sasso was clearly born for more than commercial reasons. Providing a recreational and social space for visitors, the Gran Sasso is considered a great place to spend a family day.

Located in Piano d'Accio, along a major highway that connects Rome to the Adriatic Sea, the area contains the university of Teramo campus and a 9,000 seat football stadium that hosts the local club, Calcio Teramo. Underground parking is also available for staff and visitors.
