Voronezh International Airport Tender Awarded- C Concept Design collaborated with Assmann Berraten & Planners on the architectural design for the Voronezh International Airport in Russia. The airport is located 11 km north of the city, serving over two million inhabitants and is in the redevelopment process to modernize the space. Voronezh is known in Russia as the cradle of the Russian fleet.
As historically Peter the Great established the modern Russian navy in Voronezh by building a fleet on the mighty Voronezh River. C Concept Design took inspiration from the history of the place to create the facade designs based on the idea of the masts of sailing ships. We are excited to participate in the next stages of the project.
